Even though everything was 50% off, I still limited myself to 3 items - 1 lipgloss and 2 blushes. The blush compacts are surprisingly substantial in weight and depth! They remind me a little of the special compacts MAC comes out with once a year for their higher end collection (you know the one - it arrives close to the Holiday collections). The first blush is not at all intimidating a shade, and is named Call Me.
This blush is thoroughly intimidating in the pan, and is called Kinky. I am seriously considering combining it with the previous blush, so when people ask me what I'm wearing I can say, "Call Me Kinky!" (Just pretend I'm as amusing as I think I am).
I'm not doing a lip shot of the gloss on, because A) up close lips shots gross me out, and B) I just took off all my concealers and don't want to be bothered with reapplying since I'm about to go to bed. So love the swatch of Mistress on my arm instead:
And there you have it. Bon nuit all!

Harajuku Lovers Lipstick Earrings
Lipstick, jewelry and Harajuku Lovers - the trifecta of cute! I have been itching to get something from this line when I first saw it, but that little voice in the back of my head (sometimes called reason) told me that most of the stuff was destined to go on sale. So I was browsing at my Macy's recently, and lo and behold! These were 50% off of 50% of the original price. Score! I also got a matching necklace to go with them.

Matryoshkas in Fashion - Designer Dolls
As a Matryoshka Doll collector, the pinnacle of my cute and non-traditional find was the Disney inspired Beauty and the Beast set I picked up from a street vendor in St. Petersburg. If I had access and money on my side, I'd use both in spades in order to get my hands on one of these little pretties, made for Russian Vogue:
Okay, so the Giles one creeps me out more than a little bit - it's like Pinhead meets dominatrix style. My favorite is this glam wooden gal by Roberto Cavalli:The hair! The glasses! The sexy wraparound snake! Move over Faberge, this is my idea of the perfect Russian work of art!
